This is a blog site that shows how dedicated i am in my job training at ABS-CBN. It is the country's leading television network with an advertising revenues amounted to 17.5 billion pesos for the fiscal year 2011. It was launched on 23 October 1953 and is among the first commercial television networks in Asia. Its headquarters is in Quezon City with regional offices and news bureaus in over 25 provincial areas throughout the country. Ref:(http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=ABS-CBN)

Week 3 June 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8
In my third in Abs, I asked
my boss if they can transfer me to other department so that I can learn
and explore more aside from having the knowledge in production for
commercials, they granted my wish and transferred me in Krusada, a
documentary show every Thursday. Of course, on my first day, I get to
meet new people, new environment and new work routine. Maam Karen was my
Immediate Head and she was very approachable, and I think that she is a
person easy to work with. Maam Kulet, a researcher, was the first
employee that I get to work with on my first day. We went to DepEd for
an Interview with one important employee there. We also went to Batasan
Hills High School in Commonwealth to see how the home schooling program
is systematized. The next day, we went to the
Supreme Court to interview Congressman Palatino. I liked how the
interview flows, the questions are brief but straightforward and I also
liked how Cong. Palatino answered the questions, so substantial. Maam
Jen and Maam Kulet beckon me to talk/inquire in some of the public
schools if they offer homeschooling. The other day, I was so sad i
wasn’t able to come with them for a shoot in DepEd and Batasan, but I
was happy doing the transcripts. I have learned in my third week that I
should be enjoying what I am doing so that I will achieve satisfaction
in job. Transcribing was a bit tricky because sometimes, I can’t
understand what they are saying, so I really have to listen carefully
and focus so much. The questions in an interview must be brief yet
straightforward as not to bore the interviewee.
